Arduino VENTUNO Q: Edge AI Board with Physical Interaction

Arduino has opened pre-orders for its VENTUNO Q board, designed to enable edge AI applications with physical interaction capabilities. The board features a dual-brain architecture combining a Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ8 processor, delivering up to 40 dense TOPS of AI performance, and an STM32H5 real-time microcontroller. This allows simultaneous local AI inference and real-time control tasks, such as motor control or CAN bus communication, entirely offline. VENTUNO Q includes 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 64 GB eMMC storage, and supports Ubuntu Pro for enterprise-grade security. It also offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, and CAN-FD connectivity, ensuring compatibility with Arduino UNO shields, Modulino nodes, and Raspberry Pi HATs. Pre-loaded NPU-optimized models like Qwen LLM and YoloX small object detection enhance its usability for prototyping and production.
