Basic robot kit transformed into face-tracking vehicle with microcontroller upgrade

The Elegoo robot car kit, when upgraded with an Arduino UNO Q microcontroller, can perform face-tracking operations using a standard USB webcam. Iulia Feroli enhanced the basic kit's capabilities by implementing local machine learning models through the UNO Q's STM32 chip and Linux environment, enabling the vehicle to follow human faces autonomously. The modification demonstrates how entry-level robotics hardware can gain advanced computer vision functions through affordable component swaps.
