CLion roadmap adds ARM HardFault debugging agent and QNX support through 2026

JetBrains' CLion IDE will introduce ARM Cortex-M HardFault debugging via AI agents in 2026.2.x updates, enabling automated inspection of crash registers and fault status for embedded developers. The Debug Adapter Protocol gains peripheral view support and RTOS thread debugging, while debug profiles add JSON configuration. Windows users get LLDB 21 support alongside planned QNX project compatibility.
